STRACK NORMA GmbH & Co. KGThe company – for more than 90 yearsThe today’s company STRACK NORMA GmbH & Co. KG was founded by 2 persons who were acting as entrepreneurs shortly after the First World War.Ewald Geyer in Lüdenscheid and Friedrich Strack in Velbert near Wuppertal. The cautiousness and particularly the necessary technical knowledge and know-how of the two founders provided a basis for the initially individual but later common continual development of the company. In the 1920s Ewald Geyer founded the toolmaking company of the same name in Lüdenscheid.A few years later Friedrich Strack took over representations for die-sets of well-known machine tool factories like the company Zeiss-Ikon-Werke. Over the years Friedrich Strack began to produce standard parts for the stamping tools by himself.Impressions of the 1940s/1950sAt the end of the 1950s Friedrich Strack enlarged his program by standard parts for plastic tools which were produced by the toolmaking “Geyer & Co”.After a long and successful cooperation of the two companies, in 1981, the Strack-Group was taken over by Geyer & Co. A company developed which tackled the task to sell standard parts for the stamping- and plastics technology under the well-known name “STRACK NORMA”.Today STRACK NORMA has successfully completed the transformation from a machine- and tool constructor to a service company. For more than 90 years, more than 150 employees of the family-owned company develop, produce and deliver articles according to the catalogue or according to customers’ wishes from the site Lüdenscheid in the whole world.Workplaces today
